GRADUATION 2007

Franklin Academy came of age during its fourth year of operation.  We opened with 75 students, up from 69 students the year before, and we graduated fourteen seniors and three postgraduate students.  A major accomplishment of the year was the successful completion of the school accreditation process through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and NEASC awarded Franklin Academy its initial accreditation in September of 2007.  Today, Franklin Academy is the only accredited college preparatory boarding school in the country with the specific mission of serving exclusively the high functioning NLD population of students, including those diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.  Our seniors in the first four graduating classes have now been accepted at more than eighty different colleges and universities across the country.
